What effect has UN peacekeeping had on the stability of the Democratic Republic of the Congo?

A Podcast interview with Dr Alexandra Novosseloff, Non Resident Senior Fellow at the Brian Urquhart Center for Peace Operations of the International Peace Institute (IPI).

The Effectiveness of Peace Operations Network (EPON) undertakes research into the effectiveness of specific peace operations. Alexandra Novosseloff led an EPON team of researchers that studied the effectiveness of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO). The team conducted their field research in the DRC in July 2018. Their report was published on the EPON website in April 2019.

In this interview Dr. Kari Osland, the head of the Peace, Conflict and Development Research Group at NUPI, asks her about their research and findings.
